Champion provided clarification. Carolyn Turner spoke in opposition to the amend- ment. Tim Cook spoke in opposition to the amendment. Tia Fielder had a question of clarification regarding the 2.5% increase and if it is commensurate with the cost of living. Ann Champion stated that the committee believed the 2.5% was accurate as best they could figure. Mike Potts did the math for the increased percentage point. The amendment would provide a salary for full time clergy in full connection of $53,924 and $49,483 for full time local pastors. Peter Wehrley spoke against the amendment. Saturday, June 7, 2025 ALL-CONFERENCE PRAYER BREAKFAST: The All-Conference Prayer Breakfast was held at 7:30 am, hosted by the IGRC Chapter of Black Methodists for Church Revival. SERVICE OF COMMISSIONING/ORDINATION/SETTING OF APPOINTMENTS: Bishops Bard and Bigham-Tsai presided over the service. Bishop Bard gave the sermon, “Who Are You?”. The service included the baptism of Charlee Jo Morrison and Clara Grace Morrison, daughters of Connor and Courtney Morrison, a renewal of baptism for the congregation, and Holy Communion. An invitation to respond to the call to ministry was issued to all those in attendance. Offering for Ordinands’ Trip was collected: $3,629.50 The bishops fixed the appointments and members shared in the Wesleyan Covenant Prayer. ADJOURNMENT
