f) Develop special Task Forces when appropriate to facilitate the work needing to be done on behalf of the IGRC to meet our missional priorities and goals g) Review suggestions for special offerings before they come to the floor of the Annual Conference and set the dates for special offerings once approved by the Annual Conference h) Promote networking among the various Board, Committees and Task Forces to prevent redundancy and enhance greater effectiveness 5. Accountability: The table shall be amenable to the Annual Conference and work in consultation with the Bishop. 6. Membership: a) The Chairperson of the Connectional Table shall be the Bishop in resi- dence or his/her designee; the designee shall be amenable to the Bishop b) The voting members shall include the following 21 persons: 1. Chairperson of the Board of Church and Society, 2. Chairperson of the Board of Discipleship, 3. Chairperson of the Board of Global Ministries, 4. Chairperson of the Board of Higher Education and Campus Ministry, 5. Chairperson of the Board of Ordained Ministry, 8. Chairperson of the Commission on Communications, 9. Chairperson of the Commission on Religion and Race, 10. Chairperson of the Commission on Status and Role of Women, 11. Chairperson of the Committee on Congregational Development, 12. Chairperson of the Committee on Nominations, 13. Chairperson of the Council on Finance and Administration, 14. Chairperson of the Council on Older Adult Ministries, 15. Chairperson of the Council on Young Adult Ministries, 16. Chairperson of the Council on Youth Ministries, 17. Chairperson of the Illinois Area Committee on Episcopacy, 18. Chairperson of the Lay Network Leadership Team (Board of Laity), 19. Conference President of United Methodist Women or United Women in Faith, and 20. Conference President of United Methodist Men. 6. Chairperson of the Board of Pensions, 7. Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, 21. Chairperson of the Commission on Camping and Retreat Ministries c) There shall be two at-large members with voice and vote. They shall be appointed by the Bishop to ensure ethnic diversity on the Connectional Table. They shall be appointed for a term of four years and shall serve in accordance with Standing Rule IV.D.6.d. d) Voting members shall not exceed a total of twenty-three. e) There shall be the following non-voting, voice only members: 1) Executive Assistant to the Bishop, 2) All Directors of Illinois Great Rivers Conference staff 3) The two Co-deans of the Cabinet f) In the event the designated office holder [listed in (b) and (c) above] is unable to attend the Connectional Table, he/she may identify a person
