4. The Illinois Great Rivers Conference may have these committees which are described by The Book of Discipline. In the event that one of these commit- tees is unformed by the Annual Conference through its election of com- mittee membership and the Annual Conference does not designate another committee as responsible, the IGRC Connectional Table shall be responsible as the “equivalent structure” for its mission and ministries (¶610): a) Commission on Equitable Compensation ¶624 b) Board of Church and Society ¶628 c) Board of Discipleship ¶629 d) Lay Network Leadership Team (Board of Laity) ¶630 e) Committee on Ethnic Local Church Concerns ¶631 f) Board of Global Ministries ¶632 g) Board of Higher Education and Campus Ministry ¶633 h) Commission on Archives and History ¶641 i) Commission on Christian Unity and Interreligious Concerns ¶642 j) Commission on Religion and Race ¶643 k) Commission on Status and Role of Women ¶644 l) Commission on Communications ¶646 m)Council on Youth Ministries ¶649 p) Joint Committee on Clergy Medical Leave ¶652 q) Committee on Accessibility Ministries ¶653 r) Committee on Native American Ministries ¶654 s) Committee on Hispanic Ministries ¶655 5.
