In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: Joshua (Leslie) Kuebler of Olive Branch, Miss.; Jacob (Tara) Kuebler of Savoy; and Jerrica Hightower of Evans, Ga. Dalene was a devoted grandmother to Lucille, Vivian, Mya, Mckinsley, Ellie, Brandin, and Keyanna. A Celebration of Life for Rev. Dalene A. Kuebler was held May 24, 2025, at Hope Church in Bloomington.

Vonna Lou Larson 1936-2025 Rev. Vonna Lou Larson, 89, a deacon in full connection, died May 6, 2025, in Gilson.

She was born April 15, 1936 in Peoria, the daughter of John and Eth- ylen (Watts) Chambers. She married Russell Larson on Sept. 28, 1963, at Peoria First UMC. He preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 2015. She earned her master’s degree in Education from the University of Minnesota and Bradley University. She was a teacher at numerous high schools in the Peoria area as well as Bradley University and Illinois Central College. Rev. Larson was consecrated as a diaconal minister in 1996 and was ordained as a deacon in full connection in 1999. She served her entire 13 years of ministry – 10 years of active minis- try and three years in retirement -- at Peoria: First UMC as pastor of older adult ministries. Surviving are her two children: Holly (Ike) Oglesby of Gilson, Illinois and Roy (Kris) Larson of Peoria, Illinois; Eight grandchildren: Gregory (Maggie Collopy) Thurman of Maquon, Amanda (Chris Roberts) Oglesby of Gilson, Nathan Larson of Peoria, Jay (Jen) Oglesby of Maquon, Alec Larson of San Diego, Calif., Zach Orten of Abingdon, Cordell (Liz Miller) Oglesby of Roseville and Alex (Kali) Orten of Knoxville; Twelve great grandchildren: Anthony (Deora Innis) Thurman, Evin Thurman, Ryleigh Larson, LJ Oglesby, Saylor Thurman, Kaden Oglesby, Amelia Oglesby, Jameson Orten, Remington Orten, Willow Oglesby, Hadley Roberts, Mylah Oglesby and a granddaughter on the way. One great-great granddaughter, Meliora Thurman. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one infant sister, and one grand- daughter, Jacquelyn Oglesby. Memorial services for Rev. Vonna Lou Larson were held May 14, 2025, at Peoria: First UMC.

Lois Elaine Lytle 1928-2025

Lois Elaine Sprague O’Neal Alexander Lytle, 96, of Carmel, Ind., the widow of Hubert P. Lytle, entered into eternal rest Feb. 9, 2025. Lois was born July 10, 1928, in Penfield, a daughter of John and Leola Sprague. The fifth of nine children, she and her eight siblings comprised most of the pupils of the one-room schoolhouse she attended before graduating from Rankin Township High School. She married the Rev. Earl O’Neal on June 5, 1949, and the couple served community
