Curtis and David (Melissa) Curtis of Salida, Colo.; daughters, Rebecca Reece of Taswell, Tenn., Lisa (Brian) Sullivan of Hillsboro, Debra (Geoff) Dubson of Webster Grove, Mo. And Elizabeth Curtis (Mark) Camphouse of Bethany Beach, Del.; 20 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Rural Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Howard R. Moore and Rev. John R.

Curtis Jr.; son, Robert E. Moore, and brother, Marvin Jardine. Funeral services were April 5, 2025, at Rural UMC, Carlinville.

Judith L. Daughenbaugh 1934-2024

Judith L. Daughenbaugh, 90 of Morton, Illinois, the wife of IGRC retired pastor, the Rev. Howard L. Daughenbaugh, Jr., died Oct. 12, 2024, in Peoria. Judith was born April 14, 1934, in Sulphur, La., a daughter of Clay- ton and Evelyn (Savant) Lacy. She married Howard Daughenbaugh on Dec. 22, 1955, in Lake Charles, La.

She graduated summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a bachelor’s degree in business education. She was a substitute teacher in business education at Urbana High School in Urbana and later worked for Holder Publishing Corp. in Bloomington. She was a member of Normal First UMC and received lifetime memberships in the Women’s Society of Christian Service and its successor organization, the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the League of Women Voters in Charleston. Judith was a wonderful, caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Judith is survived by her husband, Howard; two children Clayton (Lisa) Martin-Daugh- enbaugh of Chicago and Karen (Riki) Strunk of Morton; grandchildren: Melissa (Jared Guede) Strunk; Luke Daughenbaugh and Sam Daughenbaugh; and two great grandchil- dren; Tessa and Hudson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Perkins. A memorial service was held Oct. 22, 2024, at Normal: First UMC with Revs. Kent and Kathy King-Nobles officiating. Private family inurnment followed.

Donald Lynn DeJarnett 1948-2024 The Rev. Donald Lynn DeJarnett, 75, an IGRC retired pastor, died Sept. 3, 2024, in St. Louis, Mo. Rev. DeJarnett was born Sept. 26, 1948. He became a probationary member in the former Southern Illinois Conference in 1971 and was ordained an elder in 1975. He served the following pastorates during his ministry: Gorham-Grand Tower, Noble: Wesley, Mt. Zion-Browns

Chapel; Palestine: First-Grace, Shattuc-Odin, Granite City: Trinity, Hardin County, Geff- Bethel and the Spiritual Care Services of Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. He retired in 2015. A memorial service for IGRC for Rev. Donald Lynn DeJarnett was held Oct. 24, 2024, at Bel- leville Union UMC. Cremation rites were accorded.
